The Death of the Paper Scorecard
We love society golf, but we hated the administrative headache in the clubhouse. Waiting for 40 players to hand in crumpled paper scorecards, trying to decipher the handwriting, and manually calculating Stableford points whilst everyone else is at the bar having a pint simply wasn't fair on the organisers.
We looked at existing golf apps, but they all had the same fatal flaw: friction. Getting a group of occasional golfers to download an app from the store, register an account, verify their email, and remember a password on the first tee was impossible.
Frictionless Live Scoring
ScoreGolf was built to solve this exact problem. We stripped away the barriers. There are no apps to download and no accounts for players to create. The society captain or club professional simply sets up the event, hands out a 4-digit PIN, and the players use their phone's web browser to enter their scores.
Our engine handles the complex WHS handicap calculations, multi-tee adjustments, and live leaderboard generation instantly. Now, the banter starts on the 2nd hole, and the organiser can enjoy their post-round drink in peace.
